Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Keepers mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account or using Keepers, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
1. Who We Are
Keepers is operated by Canopas Software LLP ("Keepers", "Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in India at:

Keepers is a personal memory journal that allows users to capture photos, organize memories, generate AI-powered memory tags, and revisit those memories through a private timeline.
2. Eligibility
To use Keepers:
  • You must be at least 13 years old.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • If you use Keepers on behalf of an organization or business, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. License to Use Keepers
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Keepers for its intended purpose.
You agree not to:
  • Use the Service in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, copy, modify, or redistribute the application.
  • Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the Service.
  • Use Keepers for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate other individuals.
  • Use automated tools or bots to access the Service without our permission.
All rights not expressly granted remain the property of Canopas Software LLP.
4. Your Account
To use Keepers, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple.
You agree to:
  • Provide accurate account information.
  • Keep your account information up to date.
  • Keep your account credentials secure.
  • Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
We are not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized access caused by your failure to safeguard your account credentials.
5. Your Memories and Content
Keepers allows you to create and store personal memories, including photos and AI-generated memory tags ("User Content").
You retain ownership of all User Content that you create using Keepers.
By using the Service, you grant Keepers a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
  • Store your content.
  • Process your content.
  • Synchronize your content across your devices.
  • Display your content to you within the Service.
  • Perform AI processing necessary to provide Keepers's features.
This license exists solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You are solely responsible for the content you capture and store using Keepers.
You agree not to upload, create, or store content that:
  • Violates applicable laws.
  • Infringes another person's intellectual property rights.
  • Contains malicious software.
  • Is hateful, discriminatory, or promotes violence.
  • Is sexually exploitative or otherwise illegal.
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
6. AI-Generated Tags
Keepers uses artificial intelligence to analyze captured photos and generate descriptive memory tags.
These tags are provided solely to help organize your personal memories.
AI-generated tags:
  • Are automatically generated.
  • May not always be accurate or complete.
  • Should not be relied upon for factual or professional purposes.
You may edit or delete generated tags at any time.
Keepers does not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated results.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep Keepers available and functioning properly.
However, we do not guarantee that the Service will always be:
  • Uninterrupted.
  • Error-free.
  • Completely secure.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
Although we take reasonable measures to protect your memories, you are responsible for maintaining backups of any content that is particularly important to you.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights relating to Keepers, including its:
  • Software
  • User interface
  • Design
  • Logos
  • Trademarks
  • Graphics
  • Documentation
are owned by Canopas Software LLP or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service except as expressly permitted by law.
9. Privacy
Your use of Keepers is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, store, and protect your personal information.
10. Termination
You may stop using Keepers at any time.
You may delete your account through the application settings.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
  • You violate these Terms.
  • You use the Service unlawfully.
  • You abuse or misuse the Service.
  • We are required to do so by law.
Upon termination, access to the Service may be removed.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Keepers shall not be liable for:
  • Loss of data.
  • Loss of profits.
  • Loss of business opportunities.
  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service during the previous twelve (12) months.
If you have not paid for the Service, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Disclaimer
Keepers is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
We do not guarantee that:
  • The Service will always be available.
  • The Service will be free from errors or interruptions.
  • AI-generated tags or image processing results will always be accurate.
  • The Service will meet every user's expectations.
You use Keepers at your own risk.
13. Force Majeure
Keepers shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, or failure to perform resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including:
  • Natural disasters
  • Acts of government
  • War
  • Terrorism
  • Internet outages
  • Power failures
  • Cyberattacks
  • Failures of third-party service providers
We will make reasonable efforts to restore the Service as soon as reasonably practicable.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Updated Terms will be made available within the app or on our website.
Your continued use of Keepers after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Keepers regarding the use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements relating to the Service.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Keepers shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
